Feeling Peak-y

As we’ve now got a few weekends free without shows to think about, we decided to have a break this weekend (of sorts). Mr D and I took ourselves off to the Peak District for a bit of a break and some walking, and spent Saturday on a 16km walk starting off around the Ladybower Reservoir. We had fabulous weather all day, which afforded some fantastic views as we walked. It felt great to be out in the fresh air and stretching the legs.

Sunday was spent with my siblings, sorting through our old family home and dividing up childhood memories. It was a weekend of a lot of laughs and an alarming number of cobwebs! It’s amazing some of the things you come across that spark forgotten memories and stories.

Having recently received the retail packaging for our chocolate bars, we’re now busy stocking up on the six flavours we’ve chosen – Irish Cream and Pina Colada in white chocolate, Caralicious and Peach Bellini in milk chocolate, and Mojito and Gin o’clock in dark chocolate. The warm weather has meant we’ve got the aircon unit working overtime at the moment. I’m as much in danger of melting as the chocolate is this week!!
