It’s all too easy to take things for granted these days, so when you’re forced to live without something as fundamental as, say, heating and hot water, you don’t half miss it!
I’ve put production on hold this week, as without a ready supply of hot water, any washing up and cleaning down was proving difficult. Instead I’ve been huddled over either the gas fire or an electric heater catching up on all the admin I had put on hold in June. We’re nearly ready to launch the new website, which is really exciting. My accounts are all up to date, which is not so exciting. We’re in the lucky position that we have a motor home parked on the driveway, so we can at least have hot showers and somewhere warm to sleep. The electricity bill is through the roof.
