This week’s been a hectic catch-up week. I’ve managed to get production back on track by working through the weekend and into the evenings. Dad’s still very poorly, but hanging in there, so we’ve just got to wait and see for the time being.
We received some very exciting news on Saturday morning, which was that our Pina Colada has won a Bronze award in the filled white chocolate category of this year’s Academy of Chocolate awards. That, of course, demanded some celebratory bubbles and big grins all around. I quite like being an Award Winning Chocolatier!
This coming week we’re getting ready for the Mersea Food & Drink festival, which is always a lovely event with live music and entertainment as well as the food marquees, so let’s hope for good weather.
