Although we’re inching towards the finish line, there’s still a lot of chocolate to be made, so we can’t lose focus. We do at least have a better system now, and as with anything, the more we do something, the easier it gets. Now that the weather is cooler we’re having less disasters during production as well. As the year moves on we also get more online sales, which we’re keeping well on top of at the moment. I do feel that this summer passed us by though, which is a shame. No evenings in the garden with a glass of wine, although we did manage to eat outdoors three times a day. I’m rather missing my alfresco breakfasts now.
