It’s three years today that Choctails Ltd was incorporated, so we took full advantage of the Bank Holiday day off to relax and recharge. Mr D and I went for a walk through the bluebell woods this afternoon, once the sun had come out, and it was fabulous to see the bluebells in full bloom. We try to see them at least once every year, but don’t always catch them right. Some years we’re too early and then fail to go back when they’re in bloom and then some years we’ve been too late, which is always disappointing.
Having got back we mixed a few cocktails, all in the name of research, of course. We had been recommended to try a Laverstoke, made with gin, martini, elderflower and ginger, so we duly gave it a try and very nice it was too. Not sure it would work well in chocolate form, but it certainly slipped down very easily in liquid form.
