We’ve had a fun week. On Monday we went along to a new networking group and caught up with a lot of existing friends as well as making some new ones. We did go armed with some Mojito samples, which made us quite popular. On Tuesday we had a road trip to Ely to deliver our gin bars to The Ely Gin company and had the chance to catch up with the Ely Gin team on their plans for the next year – it’s got my creative juices flowing with fresh ideas as well! Today we’ve been exhibiting at the Wivenhoe House Hotel Wedding Fair, meeting brides and grooms and talking about our range of wedding favours.
In between all of that we had to have a hasty restock of our Burns Night truffles, as they have been selling really well since we launched them online, and also getting our Valentines selection ready.
With all of that going on, I didn’t realise we were already half way through January! Dry January is going reasonably well. There have been a couple of occasions when I felt a bit wistful towards a Chardonnay, but I managed to ignore the fact that my mouth was watering at the thought. We’re keeping up with the exercise plans too, and even though I haven’t lost a single ounce of weight, my clothes are less snug. Hurrah!
