Bury St Edmunds Christmas Market

We've been at the Bury St Edmunds Christmas Market over the last few days. It's a huge event which takes over the whole city. As last year we were in the Apex Foyer, which, although doesn't get the footfall of locations like Abbey Gardens and Angel Hill, it is at least guaranteed to be warm and dry, so is a great location for all weathers. We managed to catch up with Slamsey's Drinks, and DJ Wines over the weekend
and we've been selling selections of chocolates based on each of their ranges, which are proving very popular. They're exclusive to our events and we won't have them on the website for the foreseeable future, so make sure you come and see us to grab some whilst you can. Our Christmas selection was a real hit this year, having added the Snowball and Sherry Trifle to the four we've had over the last couple of years. We've now got just one more event before Christmas which is the Chocolate Festival at Islington Business Design Centre in the middle of December so it's full focus for the next couple of weeks before we can begin to wind down. divider

Hilary Delamare

Choctails® was founded by husband and wife team Simon and Hilary Delamare. Simon's suggestion of putting cocktail flavours into chocolate took Hilary's chocolate-making hobby to new heights, until in May 2012, the decision was made to turn the hobby into a full time business. The domestic kitchen became a production factory by day, and the dining room was given up to become a place where hand-made chocolate is crafted
